Within the framework of Waffer Programme for the provision of special discounts to the employees of the Government of Sharjah, Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources is organising an introductory campaign for the Programme. The Campaign is entitled “Shop More with Waffer”, and is held at the Directorate’s building in Al Dafin, to highlight the rates of the discounts offered by the entities participating in the Programme.
The Directorate always strives to remind employees of the importance of benefiting from “Waffer Card” and showing it to the entities participating in the Programme, to make the most of the discounts provided by said entities, especially in some seasons such as back-to-school seasons, holidays and events that require a lot of expenses by the staff, in addition to meeting the daily needs of employees.
The Campaign targets government entities and institutions in Sharjah. The event is held in the main building in Al Layyah, Public Works Department, Department of Economic Development. The introductory Campaign continues to cover all government entities and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Campaign consists of a promotional exhibition for the various services provided by the entities participating in the exhibition, the rate of discounts that are granted to holders of Waffer Card, and a clarification of how to benefit of those discounts that help employees increase their savings. The following entities have participated in the exhibitions organised in the departments of Sharjah Government: Al Zahiya, Gourmet Box Restaurant & Café, Maven Spa, Oman Air, Abu Dhabi Edition Hotel, Padova Beauty Centre, Touch of Oud, Karji Perfumes, Nazih Group, Hermosa Medical Centre, Limar Medical Center, Next Engineering Consultants, Dar Al-Tameer Engineering Consultant - DATEC, Al Saha Al Shifa Hospital – (One Day Surgery), Four Points by Sheraton Sharjah, Louzan Fashion.
Jawaher Saif Al Oud, Director of Events and Activities Office, stressed “the strength of our partnership with the participating entities from all sectors reflects the interest in participating in the promotional campaigns, to provide the best of the distinctive and attractive services to employees who can benefit from such services. The campaigns we organise are witnessing great interest from employees due to the discounts and offers provided by the companies that in turn provide them with all the valuable and important information they need”.
She added “through the organisation of Waffer promotional campaigns throughout the year, we aim to enhance communication with employees and the introductory marketing for Waffer Card, as well as to provide support in view of the importance of enhancing the saving culture adopted by the Programme. Waffer Programme encompasses many entities that offer many competitive offers to enable the employees to find the best value and the lowest price with excellent quality.
The Campaign is one of the successful initiatives provided by Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources to the employees of the Government of Sharjah, which aim to raise the level of awareness among government employees of the importance of spreading the saving culture. The Programme strived to achieve its goals to quickly identify the needs of employees, act according to such needs, and work to build community partnerships that provide registration opportunities for companies that adopt initiatives with future visions aiming at raising the rate of saving through the provision of outstanding discount rates to the beneficiaries.
